Steak in Red Wine

Ingredients

  • 1 cup red wine
  • 2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 tbsp dried oregano leaves
  • 2 rib eye steaks

Directions

Mix together 1 cup red wine , 2 tsp garlic salt and 1 tbsp dried oregano leaves in a shallow dish. Add 2 rib eye steaks to the dish turning a few times to ensure they are nicely covered. Cover and refrigerate for 12 hours. Remove the steaks from the marinade and fry over a high heat for 5 to 10 minutes depending on how well done you like your steak. Make sure the pan never goes dry by adding small amounts of the marinade during cooking.
