Bacon and Pepper Pasta

Ingredients

  • 1 onion
  • 8 rashers bacon
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 250 g dried spaghetti
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 yellow pepper
  • 8 mushrooms
  • 2 handful Parmesan cheese

Directions

Peel and slice 1 onion , dice 8 rashers bacon , and crush 2 cloves garlic . Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a frying pan and gently cook the onion, bacon and garlic for 5 minutes. Start to cook 250 g dried spaghetti in boiling water.

Cut 1 red pepper and 1 yellow pepper into strips, slice 8 mushrooms and add to the frying pan. Cook for a further 5 minutes then reduce the heat slightly and cook for another 5 minutes or until everything is cooked.

Drain the pasta and toss with the fried ingredients. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese (you will need at least 2 handful Parmesan cheese for 2 people).
